Terms of use

Plain language rules for using the free tools on this site.

The service

humanizeai.mx provides a free text humanizer and a free AI detector, in English and Spanish, with usage limits described on the site. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We may change limits, features or availability at any time; if paid plans launch, their terms will be stated at purchase.

Acceptable use

Use the tools to edit and improve writing you have the right to use. Do not use the service to produce content that is illegal, defamatory or deceptive, to violate the academic or workplace rules that apply to you, to process other people's personal data without authorization, or to probe, overload or scrape the service. We may block usage that abuses the service or its limits.

Your responsibility for output

You decide what to do with humanized text, and that decision carries your obligations, not ours. Academic institutions and employers set their own rules about AI assistance; know yours and follow them. Detector results on this site are probabilities with stated inconclusive bands, and must not be used as sole evidence in any accusation against any person.

No guarantees about detectors

We state this in the terms because we state it everywhere: no humanizer can guarantee that text will pass any particular AI detector now or in the future, and we make no such guarantee. Marketing claims of permanent undetectability, from anyone, should be treated with suspicion.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any claim related to the free service is limited to zero pesos, which is what you paid for it. Where law grants you rights that cannot be waived, those rights are unaffected.
