How to read the score like an adult

The gauge gives you a number from 0 to 100, and the honest way to read it is in three bands. Below 40, the text reads human. From 40 to 69, the signal is mixed: formal human writing and lightly edited AI text both land here, and no conclusion is safe. From 70 up, the text shows strong machine patterns. What the score is not: proof. Detectors measure statistical resemblance to machine writing, and some humans, especially second language writers and very formal writers, resemble that average naturally. That is why this page will never tell you a text is definitely AI, and why nobody should be accused on a score alone.

The loop nobody else gives you in one place

Detection alone leaves you stuck: you know the score and nothing else. This site closes the loop. When a text scores 40 or higher, a Humanize this text link appears under the gauge and carries your text straight into the humanizer. Rewrite, come back, verify again. Two passes through the loop typically move a heavily machine patterned draft into the human band, and you can watch it happen with your own text instead of trusting a marketing page.

When to check a text at all

Use the detector before you submit or publish, not to police other people. The healthy use cases: checking your own humanized draft, screening contributed content before it goes on your site, or understanding why some other detector flagged you. The unhealthy one: pasting a student's essay and treating 71 as a verdict. The score is one signal, the linguistic tells are another, and the person's writing history is a third. Decisions belong to people weighing all three.

Built for Mexico's two writing languages

The detector reads English and Spanish text, and the verdicts come back in the language of the page you are on. Spanish deserves a detector that was not trained as an afterthought: the Spanish version of this page lives at detector de IA, with verdicts and guidance in Spanish. Either way, your text is processed in memory and discarded, never stored, never used for training.

Common questions

How accurate is this AI detector?

No detector is perfectly accurate, including this one. Scores between 40 and 69 are inconclusive by design. Treat every score as a probability, never as proof about a person.

What do the scores mean?

Below 40 the text reads human. From 40 to 69 the signal is mixed and you should not draw conclusions. From 70 up, the text shows strong machine patterns.

Can I fix a text that scores high?

Yes. That is the point of this site: check the text, click Humanize this text, and verify again. The full loop runs free in your browser.

Is my text stored when I check it?

No. Detection runs in memory and the text is discarded, same as the humanizer.
